About our Vehicle relocation
If you decide to have your vehicle relocated for the Pike 29 Memorial track we can do that for you. We offer 4 services which can all be booked with instant confirmation by hitting BOOK NOW below. Our services are:
-Smoke ho carpark to Pike 29 Memorial Track carpark (or in reverse). $196
-Pike 29 Memorial Track to Punakaiki (or in reverse). $270
We never leave your car in the carpark overnight and leave it in our Blackball depot, where will look after it until taking to the carpark on your day of arrival.
Our new indoor parking at Blackball (opposite). We also offer storage for vehicles here for people not using any services for $50 per night.
Vehicle Relocation and Parking
We offer a car relocation service for people wanting to drive themselves to the start of the track. Our car relcocation service also includes free parking in our Blackball depot.
- When you finish your hike or bike, your car will be right there at the end of the Pike 29 Memorial Track.
- It’s always better to leave your car in a secure spot. We park it inside our shed while you are on your trip!
- Once finished, load your bikes, packs and gear in the car and you're ready to go.
- It’s super easy to book! Just book your accommodation, book your transport and you are good to go!
- Best of all, you will have all your clean clothes and goodies waiting for you at the track end!
At the Punakaiki Beach Camp we have a secure car-park for Great Walk guests. This is the only secure car parking in Punakaiki and a great place to leave you car full of gear ready for you at the end of your walk. Punakaiki Beach Camp is located right opposite the end of the Paparoa Track so an obvious place to park and stay to recover from an epic few days on the track.
